Keeler digital R-type style applanation tonometer is designed to be used with H series slit lamps (tower illumination). The R-type applanation tonometer is fixed allowing for it to easily swing into and out of position as needed without being removed. Each unit contains a calibration arm and a re-usable tonometer cone.
The Goldmann principle is considered to be the most prevalent method of tonometry, as it is the most widely accepted method of determining the approximate intraocular pressure. The Keeler-manufactured Goldmann tonometers are designed and built to our exacting standards to give you the accuracy and quality you expect from a Keeler device.
